Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to be a comfortable stay with friendly staff and convenient location for visiting family. The dining experience was good overall, offering value for money, though there were slight delays. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were highlights, but the noise levels from outside were a drawback.
Rooms were ready for us straight away in the Sussex Wing. There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the building, possibly the carpets, but overall fine, though the hotel felt a little dated. The service was very unfriendly in the old part of the building, but they provided an electric rad that solved the problem. The dining experience was wonderful in a separate building, but average at best in a small, dingy room. The facilities were good value.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were big and clean, but the noise from the nearby car wash made it hard to relax in the mornings.
